12/11/2015: SSS BRIEFING AND ON-SITE SERVICES ON NOVEMBER 22, 2015; SAN FRANCISCO OFFICE TO OPEN IN JANUARY 2016

San Francisco, 06 November 2015 -- Good news to all Filipinos in San Francisco and the Bay Area! The Social Security System (SSS) of the Philippines will be coming to San Francisco to conduct on-site services and a briefing for all SSS members.  This will be held on Sunday, November 22, 2015 at the Kalayaan Hall of the Philippine Center, located at 447 Sutter Street, San Francisco, California.  The On-site Services will start at 10:00 a.m., while the briefing will be at 2:00 p.m.

The following are the On-site Services that will be conducted by the SSS:

  • Registration of new members
  • Reactivation of SSS membership for existing members
  • Enrollment in the Flexi-fund Program
  • Member data amendment
  • Annual confirmation of pensioners; and
  • Benefit claim applications

Those who are interested to avail themselves of these services are encouraged to review the flyer below for the list of requirements for each service and download the forms at www.sss.gov.ph.

Applicants are also requested to confirm their attendance for the upcoming SSS on-site services and briefing at cultural@philippinessanfrancisco.org.

For those who cannot attend the briefing on November 22, the SSS team will still be present on November 23-25, 2015 to conduct services starting 10:00 a.m. at the Philippine Center.

More good news to all SSS members! The SSS will be opening their San Francisco office in January next year. The new office will be located at the seventh floor of the Philippine Center.  Please watch out for more details on the new office.
